Flipped Classroom Project: Second CoP Meeting
Given all of the lessons learned and experiences gained from implementing a flipped class, about 30 teachers and project members joined the project's 2nd CoP on 24 April 2019 (Wed) to explore the possibilities of publishing their work together. Professor Carmel McNaught and Professor David M. Kennedy, who have extensive research experience in the field, were the facilitators of the meeting. They broke down the steps of some possible ways to publish books/ journal special issues and explained the respective pros and cons. Participants were invited to brainstorm on paper ideas while Carmel and David provided constructive advice on their research direction and structure. Through collaboration on academic writing, it is hoped that the project deliverables and research findings can be disseminated to a wider audience.
